Step 3: Choose your strength

Our oil comes in three different concentrations: 500mg, 750mg, or 1500mg. This is the amount of active Cannabidiol (CBD) in the oil. Oils are available in several different flavors, including an unflavored, natural option.

We recommend at least the 750mg oil for adults, and if you have more significant ailments - or simply want to purchase a higher amount of CBD for a lower cost - we recommend the 1500mg. If you end up using the “full dose” of one of the lower concentrations, and think you could benefit from a higher concentration, or if you finish your bottle and think, "I don't feel much of a difference", then simply bump up to the next concentration for your next bottle.

Everyone’s dose has potential to be different. Each person’s Endocannabinoid System is going to be deficient in different ways, and everyone will metabolize CBD differently. The best way to find your perfect dose is to start low, and then slowly increase until you get to the “full dose” noted on the bottle. We suggest following a pattern similar to this:

·       Take 1/4 of the "full dose", twice daily, for a few days (most people can move past this dose pretty quickly!)

·       Take 1/2 of the "full dose", twice daily, for a week

·       Increase to 3/4 of the "full dose", twice daily, for a week

·       Increase to the full serving, twice daily

The first few weeks of your CBD journey are all about finding your "sweet spot” of a dose! Decide which dose you feel best at.

How to take your oil: Place drops under your tongue, hold for at least one minute, and then swallow. Voila!

It takes most people a few weeks to really feel the benefits of CBD. Some people notice improvements within 24 hours, and some people require a couple months of consistent use. We tell our customers that consistency and patience are key.

You’ll be reassured to know that you can’t “overdose” on CBD. If you feel a headache or body ache coming on, or if you’re feeling extra stressed, don’t be afraid to take an extra dose, in addition to your two daily doses. Fortunately, CBD doesn’t have a list of dangerous, potential side effects – such as organ damage after long-term use – attached to it, like some prescription medications have. If you ever feel slightly drowsier than usual after taking your CBD, simply decrease your dose a little! Although CBD promotes more restful sleep, it isn’t like a sleeping aid that should physically make you feel “tired”.
